Yacht, boat and ship launchings
As a dedicated yachtie, it's always a pleasure to officiate at the ceremony for any new vessel being launched upon the waters. The launchings can include religious rites as well as the traditional symbols of unveiling the name and breaking the bottle of champagne!

Product and book launchings
It's exciting to be involved in the launching of a new product or book. A well run ceremony allows time for feedback and a reception that lets all participants feel that all the work that went before it was worthwhile and that they have some ownership in making the product succeed.

Anzac Day services
It's only 'one day of the year', but a very special day, one that is now being marked in many ways. Your organisation may hold this day as important and wish to celebrate it's meaning. I'm happy to help either as Padre for the occasion or to be Master of Ceremonies.

House blessings
Our homes are sacred places where we live out our daily lives, and where we create an environment to live in that suits our needs. Throughout the ages people have felt the need to bless and purify their dwelling places, be it with pagan rituals or religious ceremony. Today many people like to have a blessing when they move into a new home.

'Winnowing' ceremonies and 'This is Your Life' parties
In the phases of our life, comes the time to pause and look back. The idea of this ceremony is 'to winnow' or to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Living memorials
It's only very rare, - but it does happen that people who know that they are not long for this world want to share some quality time with others before they die. These ceremonies are never easy, - even for myself with many years of experience, but they are often helpful for those who are departing this life.

Renewals of vows, commitment and dedication ceremonies
Your organisation, business or family will have times to mark endings, new beginnings and changes of direction. These are far more poignant when given due ceremony. It's my job to listen to the needs of your organisation and to design a ceremony that speaks a common language that will last the test of time.

Unveilings
The markers of our lives are sometimes few and far between. Being human often means that we take time out to acknowledge the times when we mark the lives of someone we have loved. I often officiate at the unveiling of headstones.

Ashes burials
Burying the ashes of one we have loved is never a straightforward task. It can be done with significant words and music and is often combined with an unveiling.
